This is snapshot of the beginning of my battle with starvation and with my guilt regarding food. As I traveled through Europe with my family almost nine years ago, you can see that I couldn’t enjoy the experience, as my mind obsessed over restricting what I ate. This was the summer that started an internal war. Now, a month away from another trip to Europe, I can be grateful that my thoughts have shifted away from such destructive thinking.
